01 · Something a little different

We’re opening four dates for something a little different.

Story & Still is looking for weddings that take us somewhere, literally and creatively. Maybe you’re exchanging vows barefoot on a beach, planning a storybook weekend somewhere tucked away in the mountains, taking over an estate in the countryside, or going full black tie in the middle of a city.

If your wedding has a setting, a feeling, and a story we’re dying to capture, we want to hear about it.

Barefoot

On a beach

Vows in the sand, shoes off before dinner, the light going orange over the water. Wherever the coastline is, we will meet you on it.

Storybook

Tucked away in the mountains

A weekend rather than an afternoon. Somewhere quiet, somewhere high, somewhere your people had to make a real effort to reach.

Full black tie

In the middle of a city

Ballroom, cathedral, rooftop, a band that plays past midnight. Sharp tailoring and a room that knows exactly what it is doing.

Open category

Or something we haven’t even thought of yet

An estate in the countryside. A ceremony in a language we do not speak. A three-day celebration in a place we have never been. Surprise us.

02 · What we’re looking for

Not the biggest wedding. The one with the most story.

This isn’t about finding the biggest wedding or the most expensive venue. We’re looking for celebrations with intention: incredible locations, thoughtful details, interesting experiences, meaningful traditions, beautiful environments, or simply a story that deserves to be told differently.

We’ll be choosing four weddings that genuinely inspire us and give us the opportunity to travel, create, explore, and make something unforgettable.

A

A place that means something

Not just a beautiful venue. Somewhere tied to your history, your family, or how the two of you got here.

B

Culture and tradition

Ceremonies, rituals, and family customs carried into the day. The parts of a wedding that only belong to you.

C

More than one day

Welcome dinners, day-after brunches, a weekend rather than an afternoon. The whole arc, not just the ceremony.

D

Your love story

How you met, what you have been through together, and what makes the two of you specific. Tell us that part properly.

03 · What this includes

Get us there. That’s the whole ask.

For four select weddings, we’re waiving our photography and film coverage fee. You simply cover our travel and accommodations, and we’ll document the day together. Photography and film, two perspectives, one story.

05 · Why we are doing this

We have shot together for years. This is the first season that’s ours.

We have spent years working weddings side by side. We know how the other one moves, where the other one will be standing, and when to step out of the frame. Most of that work went out under other studios' names, which was the arrangement at the time.

This is the first run of weddings with both of our names on it, and we would rather fill it with couples who care about the same things we do.

So we set aside four. Photographed and filmed by both of us, start to finish, at no cost. You get a photographer and a filmmaker who already work as one unit, which is rarer than it sounds and is usually the most expensive thing on a wedding quote.

We get four days we are proud to put our name on. That is the trade, and we would rather state it plainly than dress it up.

06 · How it works

Four steps, and one of them is just us showing up.

01

You apply

One form. Date, location, venue, guest count, and a few honest sentences about the day you are planning.

02

We read it together

Both of us read every application. We are selecting on the story, the setting, and the feeling, not on the budget.

03

Four couples hear back

Selections go out after the deadline. You receive a video consultation with both of us, an itemized travel estimate, and a written agreement covering coverage, delivery, and usage.

04

We show up and shoot it

Full day, both of us, one rhythm. A complete edited gallery and a finished highlight film, delivered on the timeline set in your agreement.

07 · Who you get

Two of us. Nobody you haven’t already met.

Elizabeth Ann, photographer Photography

Elizabeth Ann

Elizabeth Ann photographs the things you cannot pose: the squeeze of a shoulder, the laugh that catches someone off guard, the quiet hour nobody put on the schedule. She came up through coordination, which means your timeline holds together once the day actually starts.

Dakota, filmmaker Film

Dakota

Dakota has a decade of commercial production and hundreds of weddings behind him. He builds films around how a day felt rather than the order things happened in, with original scoring and real audio, so you can still hear your partner's voice fifty years from now.
